Field of use

Folio 2 Basic film-coated tablets (pack size: 90 pieces) are used from the 13th week until the end of breastfeeding.

Then you should definitely pay attention to a healthy lifestyle and a balanced diet that allows you to cover your additional needs for vitamins and minerals. But with some particularly important nutrients, this doesn't always work. These primarily include the sensitive folic acid, its helper vitamin B12 (with a low-meat diet), vitamin D3 and iodine.

The ingredients:
Folic acid (vitamin B9) helps with all cell division processes. This is particularly important for the emergence of new life, because ultimately 100 billion new cells are formed from a fertilized egg cell! Folic acid also contributes to normal blood formation and the normal growth of maternal tissue.
You also benefit from folic acid in other ways: The vitamin supports the normal function of the immune system and helps reduce fatigue.

Vitamin B12 is the most important partner of folic acid because the two vitamins work hand in hand. The vitamin is only found in animal foods. Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to individual ingredients, Folio 2 Basic film-coated tablets (pack size: 90 pieces) should not be consumed.

Recommended dosage of Folio 2 Basic film-coated tablets (pack size: 90 pieces):

Take one mini-tablet of Folio 2 Basic film-coated tablets (pack size: 90 pieces) once daily without chewing with a little liquid during a meal or snack.

Time and duration of application
After you have used Folio 2 Basic film-coated tablets (pack size: 90 pieces) until the end of the 12th week of pregnancy , you can continue to supplement your vitamin and iodine supply with Folio® from the 13th week of pregnancy. Your breastfed baby receives these nutrients through breast milk. Therefore, make sure you get enough vitamins and iodine, even while breastfeeding!
