ColoCalm® Duo is a medical device that helps relieve the symptoms of bloating and flatulence due to the accumulation of gases.ColoCalm® Duo works against cramps and associated pain and reduces flatulence and bloating.

The innovative 2-phase tablet contains the active ingredients simethicone and medicinal charcoal in both phases for a quick and long-lasting effect.The immediate phase releases the active ingredients in the stomach within 15 minutes.The release of the depot phase occurs within 1 hour in the intestine.Both active ingredients have a purely physical effect in the digestive tract and are not absorbed by the body.

Simethicone: Simethicone reduces the surface tension of foam bubbles, allowing these bubbles to collapse and the gases they contain to escape.

Medicinal charcoal: Medicinal charcoal binds the gases in the gastrointestinal tract on its surface and thus supports the excretion of these substances.

Due to the purely physical effect of both active ingredients, which is limited to the digestive tract, ColoCalm® Duo is well tolerated.

The ColoCalm Duo 2-phase tablet is suitable for use in adults and adolescents aged 14 and over.

Application

Adults: 1-2 tablets after both main meals, max. 4 tablets per day

Adolescents (14-18 years): 1 tablet after both main meals, max. 2 tablets per day

Take with a glass of water.

Notes

The product may only be used from 14 years of age.

Keep out of the reach of children.

Do not take while lying down.

Do not take if packaging is damaged.

Each tablet is for single consumption and should be removed from the packaging immediately before taking.Do not take partially used tablets (crushed or broken) or tablets that have been removed from the blister pack at an unknown date, as this improper use may involve the risk of contamination of the product.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, only take the medical product if necessary and after consulting a doctor.

Do not exceed the recommended dosage as higher amounts may cause side effects.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Recommended use of Colocalm Duo film-coated tablets:

Adults: 1-2 tablets after both main meals, max. 4 tablets per day
Adolescents (14-18 years): 1 tablet after both main meals, max. 2 tablets per day
