Buscopan^® Dragées
Does it cramp and hurts in the abdomen? Then it is important to alleviate the unpleasant pulling and sting as quickly as possible. The Buscopan^® Dragées begin to work within 15 minutes. Thanks to the active ingredient butyl scopolamine, gastrointestinal complaints are relieved in a targeted manner, which were caused, for example, by stress, flatulence, irritable bowel or food intolerance.

Buscopan^® Dragées are used for light to moderately severe pain. The active ingredient scopolamine is obtained from the duboisia plant and then refined to butylscopolamine. The active ingredient is able to occupy certain receptors in the intestinal muscle cells and thereby specifically solve cramps and tension in place and to relieve the associated pain.

At the same time, butylscopolamine is well tolerated. That is why Buscopan^® Dragées are not only suitable for adults, but also for children from the age of six. As a rule, Buscopan^® is taken three times a day, one to two dragées per income. The amount of active ingredient is decisive: a dragée corresponds to 10 mg butylscopolamine. The recommended maximum daily dose is 60 mg, a total of six dragées. Buscopan is free of lactose and gluten.

The Buscopan^® Dragées are unscrewed and taken with plenty of liquid - preferably with a glass of water. In this way, the dragée content will safely reach where it should have its effect: into the gastrointestinal tract. If the symptoms do not improve even after five days, you should get advice from a doctor. The pharmacist or doctor of your trust also has the right answers if you have any questions about correct application and dosage. You can also always refer to other important information and precautionary measures.

Thanks to their shape, Buscopan^® Dragées can not only be taken at home, but also when traveling quickly and easily. After all, abdominal pain and cramps can be particularly uncomfortable and annoying on the way. Long train journeys, car or aircraft trips appear like an eternity in pain. On vacation itself, it is often exotic spices or the unfamiliar food that can cause gastrointestinal complaints. Buscopan^® Dragées are gentle on the abdomen and relieve these symptoms due to their antispasmodic ingredient.
