Aurica Blood root tea from the dark red -brown root pieces of the blood root "Potentlla erecta" is drunk as a tea against diarrhea and for normal digestion. Tormentill contains natural tannins. It is therefore used externally for envelopes or partial baths for rash, slight burns and poorly healing injuries. As a gurgical water, it relieves inflammation of the mucous membranes in the area of mouth and throat.

Instruction of dosage and kind of usage:
Unless otherwise prescribed, 1 cup of tea infusion is drunk 2- 3 times a day if there is diarrhea or rinsed or ground with a lukewarm tea infusion for oral and throat infections. The tea infusion is prepared as follows: pour about ½ teaspoon of blood root tea (approx. 2 g) with boiling water (approx. 150 ml) and let it steep for about 10 - 15 minutes.

Duration of the application: In the event of diarrhea that lasts longer than 2 days or with blood and fever, consultation with a doctor is required.

Contraindications: Diarrhea in infants and toddlers can always be excluded from self -treatment.

Interactions by other means: no known.

Side effects: stomach complaints can occur in sensitive patients.
