Application

Carefully separate a one-dose ophtiol from the strip.Unscrew (do not pull) the cap on the one-dose ophtiol.Tilt your head back slightly and pull your lower eyelid down slightly with a finger of your free hand.Hold the one-dose ophtiol as vertically as possible over your eye with the dropper tip pointing downwards.Be careful not to let the one-dose ophtiol come into contact with your eye to prevent possible injury and damage.Then gently squeeze the one-dose ophtiol to squeeze out a drop.

Then close your eye and slowly move the eyeball back and forth to distribute the drop optimally over the surface of the eye.

Artelac eye soother EDO eye drops are an isotonic eye drop solution and are suitable for the treatment and prevention of symptoms of seasonal and year-round allergic conjunctivitis, which can be caused, for example, by pollen, house dust mites, animal hair or mold. Artelac eye soother EDO eye drops offer anti-inflammatory and cell-protecting properties as well as long-lasting relief of symptoms, especially for irritated, itchy or red eyes.

The preservative-free eye drops are particularly suitable for people with recurring and inflammatory eye irritations, including children, pregnant and breastfeeding women.They can also be used by contact lens wearers, are packaged in individual doses and are practical for on the go.

Mode of action

Artelac eye soother EDO eye drops contain ectoine and hyaluronic acid.Ectoine is a natural cell protection molecule that has anti-inflammatory and membrane-stabilizing properties.Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring molecule that soothes the eye thanks to its strong water-binding and stabilizing effects.

2.0 mg/ml hyaluronic acid (as sodium hyaluronate), 20 mg/ml ectoine, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide (for pH adjustment) and water for injections.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Recommended use of Artelac eye soothing EDO eye drops:

Add 1-2 drops into each eye as needed.You can use the solution daily and as often as you like.The duration of use is not limited.

Patient information

Artelac Eye Soothing EDO eye drops are suitable for use with soft and hard contact lenses.
Wait about 15 minutes before using another eye product.

Notes

After instillation of the product, blurred vision may occur for a short time, which may lead to impairments in driving or operating machines.
Discard opened one-dose ophtiols after use.
