Field of use

Vomex A® - No. 1 in nausea and vomiting.*

Due to the retarded form, the active ingredient in Vomex A® retard is constantly released over a longer period of time.
Vomex A® has a quick and long -lasting effect against nausea and vomiting. From 14 years and over 56 kg body weight. Whether nausea on the go, due to migraines or a gastrointestinal infection or hormonal-nausea can have many causes.
Vomex A® acts with the active ingredient dimen hydrinate against nausea and vomiting. The effect begins within 30 minutes and lasts up to six hours.
Dimenhydrinate acts directly in part of the brain, which is referred to as a crowd center. The dimen hydrinate contained in Vomex A® blocks the histamine receptors in the breaking center, so that signals that trigger nausea and vomiting are not forwarded: histamine cannot work and the nausea does not allow.

Vomex A Retard capsules (pack size: 20 STK) are taken to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting of different origin, especially in the event of travel sickness.
For young people aged 14 and over. Over 56 kg body weight.

Other components: sucrose, corn starch, talcum, shellac, povidon k30, titanium dioxide, gelatin, chinolingelb, indigocarmin, erythrosine, patent blue V

Contradictions

In the case of known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients mentioned above, the product should not be used.

Application recommendation of Vomex A Retard capsules (pack size: 20 pcs):

Young people aged 14 and over and adults (over 56 kg of body weight):
The patients receive 1 hard capsule in the morning and evening, retarded (corresponding to 300 mg of dimen hydrinate per day).
The specified upper limit of 2 hard capsules, retarded per day (corresponding to 300 mg of dimensory/day) may not be exceeded.

Taking

• To take.
• To prevent travel sickness, the first time is taken about 1/2 - 1 hour before the start of the trip. In order to treat nausea and vomiting, taking is taken in the morning and evening. A time interval of at least 8 hours should be observed between two income.
• The retard capsules are to be unscrewed and with plenty of liquid.

  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking the medicine
    • Presentation of a Parkinson's disease (ventilation parameter),
    • restricted liver function and/or severely restricted kidney function,
    • Potassium or magnesium deficiency,
    • slow heartbeat (bradycardia),
    • certain heart diseases (congenital long QT syndrome or other clinically significant heart damage, in particular circulatory disorders of the coronary arteries, excitement disorders),
    • simultaneous use of medicines that also extend the so-called QT interval in the EKG or lead to hypocalaemia (see under category "Interactions"),
    • chronic breathing difficulties and asthma,
    • There are complaints that could be reinforced by anticholinergic therapy (e.g. B. increased intraocular pressure, narrowing in the area of the gastric porter or the duodenum [Pyloro-Duodenale Obstruktion], benign enlargement of the prostate [Prostata-Hypertrophie], high blood pressure [Hypertonie], blood pressure drop when taking an upright position [orthostatische Hypotonie], overactive thyroid [Hyperthyreose], dizziness, sedation or serious illness relating to the coronary arteries).
  • In these cases, the retard capsules may only be taken after consultation with the doctor.
  • With longer treatment, the development of drug addiction cannot be ruled out. For this reason, these retard capsules should only be used briefly if possible.
  • After long -term daily intake, sudden termination of the treatment can temporarily occur sleep disorders. Therefore, treatment should be ended in these cases by gradually reducing the dose.
  • Children and adolescents
    • Overdoses with dimen hydrinate, the active ingredient of the retard capsules, can be life -threatening, especially in children, and must be avoided. Therefore, the retard capsules must not be used in children and adolescents under the age of 14 or under 56 kg body weight. Other low -dose forms of dosage are available for this.

 

• Wateriness and ability to operate machines
  • Sleepiness, memory disorders and reduced ability to concentrate can have a negative impact on the ability to drive or the ability to work with machines. This applies to a particular extent after inadequate sleeping time, when treating treatment and preparation change as well as in interaction with alcohol (see also category "interactions").

Pregnancy

• If you are pregnant or breastfeed, or if you suspect that you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this drug.
• Pregnancy
  • Dimenhydrinate, the active ingredient of these retard capsules, can lead to triggering premature labor. The safety of the drug in pregnancy is not proven. A risk cannot be ruled out for dimen hydrinate due to clinical data. You may only take the couple parat after consulting your doctor and only if he considers an intake necessary.
• Breastfeeding
  • Dimenhydrinate, the active ingredient of the drug merges into breast milk. The safety of the couple parrat during breastfeeding is not proven. Since unwanted effects, such as increased unrest not to be excluded to the breastfed child, they should either not take these retard capsules during breastfeeding or wean them off during the time of taking it.
