What is Vita-POS®?
Vita-POS® is a sterile, vitamin A-containing eye ointment, beside 250 I.e./G retinol palmitate (vitamin A), thick paraffin, low-resident paraffin, wool wax and white vaseline. A tube contains 5 g.

Why do you need Vita-POS®?
VITA-POS® improves the tear film and protects the eye surface. Vita-POS® is a particularly soft and supple eye ointment that spreads very well on the eye surface. The vitamin A contained therein is a natural part of the tear film that supports the good compatibility of the ointment and ensures that the ointment mixes well with the existing tears. This will allow feeling burning, dry or tired eyes to be alleviated. The eyelids smoothly slide over horn and conjunctiva.

When should you apply Vita-POS?
Under the influence of air conditioning, z. B. in the car or plane, wind, cold, strong sunlight, bad air or cigarette smoke, it often comes to burning or itchy eyes with a dryness or foreign body feel. Also by concentrated see, z. For example, for long screen work, television or night car rides these complaints can occur. If contact lenses are also worn, the risk of these sensitivity disorders is all the greater. VITA-POS® relieves these symptoms and forms a pleasant, long-adherent protective film on the eyes. The low-fat consistency of the ointment leads to a slight impairment of the vision. Therefore, Vita-POS® should be applied above all before bedtime. Any complaints in the first morning opening of the eyes can be prevented with VITA-POS.

How do you use Vita-POS®?
Eye finishes should basically be applied so that a contact of the tube tip is avoided with eye or facial skin. Unscrew the locking cap of the tube. The locking cap of the tube is provided with a sealing ring, which ensures the integrity of the tube before the first application by it and thus serves its security. Use Vita-POS® only if the seal ring is intact on the tube before the first application. When opening first, the cap is disconnected from the sealing ring. Please remove this sealing ring from the thread of the tube before the first application of the eye ointment. Put your head back slightly, pull off the lower lid slightly from the eye and bring a small ointment strand into the tether with light pressure on the tube. Slowly close the eyelids. After use, the tube is to be carefully closed again.

Which other instructions for use should be considered?
If you apply Vita-POS® during the day, you will not be able to see clearly clearly because of the low ointment consistency. You should not drive driving, actively participating in road traffic, operate machinery or work without a secure hold. VITA-POS® must not be used while wearing contact lenses. VITA-POS® should not be applied simultaneously with oscillators. In these cases, use Vita-POS® only about 30 minutes after application of the oscillating products. Please refer to the eye ointment by gentle expressions of the tube without buckling and rolling up. VITA-POS® can also be applied for children, pregnant and breastfeeding women due to the findings. With the content of a Tube Vita-POS®, the same person should always be treated.

How often and how long should you use Vita-POS?
The frequency of application depends on your individual complaints and living habits. VITA-POS® can complement the application of moistening eye drops and is then applied once a day before bedtime. With pronounced dryness of the eyes, Vita-POS® is usually used three times a day. If you have the impression of needing Vita-POS® more often, ask an ophthalmologist for advice. There is no restriction in the application time.

When should you do not use Vita-POS?
If a hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients is known, you should viTA-POS® does not apply. VITA-POS® must not be administered during wearing contact lenses.

What notes for the storage of VITA-POS® should be considered?
Vita-POS® should be stored at room temperature (15-25 ° C). Vita-POS® can be used after a break for 6 months. VITA-POS® should not be used after the expiration date expires.
