Caffeine makes ibuprofen stronger and faster.
Caffein is an analgesic adjuvan. This means substances that additionally accelerate and reinforce the effect of painkillers. Contradictions

Application recommendation of Thomapyrin tension duo 400mg/100mg with caffeine & ibuprofen (pack size: 18 pc):

For adults:
Initial dose: Take in 1 film -coated tablet (400 mg ibuprofen and 100 mg caffeine). If necessary, take another dose (a film -coated tablet), but you can 24 hours a total dose of 3 film -coated tablets (1,200 mg ibuprofen and 300 mg caffeine) do not exceed.

The time interval between two doses must be at least 6 hours.

Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you feel that the effect of this drug is stronger or weaker than expected.

The duration of treatment should be a maximum of 3 days. Thomapyrin Tension duo is not recommended for slight pain or a treatment period of more than 3 days. Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you continue to have pain.

Taking

Take the film tablets as a whole with a glass of water.

  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking the preparation,
    • if you suffer from asthma or an allergic illness or were previously affected by it, as it can be shortness of breath,
    • if you suffer from hay fever, nasal polyps or chronic obstructive respiratory diseases, since there is an increased risk of the occurrence of allergic reactions. The allergic reactions can express themselves as asthma attacks (so-called analgesic asthma), quincke-edema or nettle fever.
    • if you suffer from liver diseases,
    • if you suffer from a restriction of kidney function,
    • if you take medicines, die can have interactions with this preparation, such as corticosteroids, medicinal products for blood thinning (such as warfarin), selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (medicines for the treatment of depression) or medicinal products that inhibit blood clotting (such as acetylsalicylic acid)
    • if you suffer from a disease in the gastrointestinal tract (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease) or were previously affected,
    • if you have heart problems, including heart failure, irregular heartbeat, angina pectoris (breast basket pain), or if you have a heart attack, a bypass operation, a peripheral arterial disease (poor blood circulation in your legs or feet due to narrowed or clogged arteries) or any kind of stroke (including mini stroke or transitory ischemic attack, TIA),
    • if you suffer from high blood pressure, diabetes or high cholesterol levels in your family frequent heart diseases or strokes or when you smoke,
    • if you ever had high blood pressure and/or heart failure,
    • directly after larger surgical interventions,
    • if you suffer from blood clotting disorders,
    • if you suffer from a congenital disorder of blood formation (acute intermittent porphyria),
    • if you suffer from certain skin diseases (systemic lupus erythematosus [SLE] or mixed collagenosis),
    • if you are on serious skin reactions such as B. Exoliative dermatitis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis suffer. The application must be ended with the first signs of rashes, mucous membrane wounds or all other signs of allergic reactions.
    • if you have chickenpox (varicelle infection), it is recommended to avoid the application,

  • Contact your doctor immediately if you notice the following:
    • light red chair, black tea chair, vomiting of blood or particles that look like coffee grounds,
    • severe pain in the upper abdomen.
  • While taking it, you should avoid excessive taking caffeine-containing products (e.g. coffee, tea, food, other medicines and drinks).
  • Side effects can be minimized by using the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible period. There is an increased risk of side effects in older patients.
  • Simultaneous use with NSAIDs, including selective cyclooxygenase 2-inhibitors, increases the risk of unwanted effects and should be avoided.
  • Anti -inflammatory/pain relieving medicines such as ibuprofen can increase the risk of a heart attack or stroke, especially when using high doses. Do not exceed the recommended dose or duration of treatment (3 days).
  • The use of any kind of painkillers against headaches over a longer period of time can make it worse. If this situation or the suspicion is suspected, you should obtain the advice of a doctor and end the treatment.
  • Children and adolescents
    • the drug must not be used by children and adolescents under the age of 18.

• Wateriness and ability to operate machines
  • With brief application and normal doses, this medicine has no or an excessive influence on the traffic and the ability to use machines. People who still lead to side effects such as dizziness, tiredness or visual disturbances must not take part in traffic and do not operate machines. This applies particularly in combination with alcohol.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or breastfeed, or if you suspect that you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this drug.

Pregnancy
Inform your doctor if you get pregnant while taking it. Do not take this drug during the last 3 months of pregnancy. Avoid using this drug in the first 6 months of pregnancy, unless otherwise ordered by your doctor.

Breastfeeding
The active ingredients ibuprofen and caffeine pass into breast milk. In children who were breastfed, it was reported on irritability and bad sleep behavior. The preparation should only be used by breastfeeding mothers if this is absolutely necessary.

Reproductive ability
