Intensive humidification of dry, irritated eyes
Dry eyes arise when either the amount or the quality of the tear fluid produced by the tear glands is inadequate or the tears evaporate too quickly. The result is dry, tired and irritated eyes.
Systane® are suitable for relieving the symptoms in moderate to severe shapes of dry eyes. The wetting drops can also be used during the day and as a supplement at night. They protect against further cell damage through a gel -like network on the surface of the eye and are useful as drops. In this way, they effectively support the therapy of dry, irritated and burning eyes. The application with the dropper® is simple and can take place before and after the tra gene of contact lenses-1–2x daily or as required.
Unique wording
Systane® Gelstrops with the unique formula against dry eyes contain HP-Guar (Hy-Droxypropyl-Guar). The optimized concentration of HP-Guar improves the networking and resistance of the protective viscoelastic matrix. The gel forms a protective network on the eye and enables intensive humidification and complaints to be used to do the dry and heavy forms of the dry eye. Systane® Nursing gel drops like a gel and are use -friendly like eye drops.
Application recommendation
Systane® Geldropts can be used daily as required. Wash your hands before using eye drops.
Open the bottle without touching the tipper. Keep the bottle of intermediate daring and fingers down with the opening. Tilt slightly back, look upwards and pull the lower eyelid with the index finger of the other hand.
By slightly pressure on the bottle floor of the drop -tainer®bottle1drops from above into the conjunctival bag without the bottle tip with the eye or lid edge. Then blink.

Frequent symptoms in dry eyes are foreign body feeling ("grain grain"), pain, redness, tired eyes, "glued lid" in the morning, tearful eyes, eye burning, light sensitivity or visual disturbances. Risk factors4
The most common risk factors include age, hormonal changes including menopause, allergies, environmental factors, autoimmune diseases such as B. the Sjögren syndrome, taking certain medication and lasik or other interventions on the eye. Protective tear film
The tear film consists of two layers: the extreme layer of the tear film, the lipid layer (fat layer) is considered the stabilizer of the tear film. The watery-mucinous layer moistened, nourishes and protects the surface of the eye from pathogens. As soon as one or both layers are disturbed, symptoms of dry eyes can arise. In addition to different symptoms, dry eyes can also favor an eye inflammation because the protective tear film is disturbed. Systane® Gel drops protect against further cell damage through a gel -like network on the surface of the eye.
