How do the ingredients of the drug work?

The ingredients come from the plant sage and act as a natural mixture. To the plant itself:
- Appearance: approx. 50 cm high shrub with gray -green leaves with a slightly enjoyed surface and a hairy underside
- Occurrence: especially in the Mediterranean area up to the Middle East
- Main ingredients: tannins and essential oils, which include Thujon, Cineol and Campher, among others
- Used plant parts and preparations: extracts and tinctures from flowers and above all leaves, sage oil
The essential oils of the plant inhibit the growth of bacteria, mushrooms and viruses. They are supported by the protein -fitting effect of the also contained tannins. Together, oil and tannins insulate superficial inflammation. Sage can also solve cramps in the digestive tract.

dosage

• Always take the preparation exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Adult
  • Single dose: 1 film-coated tablet (corresponding to 300 mg sage leaves dry extract)
  • Total dose: 3 film-coated tablets (corresponding to 900 mg sage leaves dry extract)
• For seniors, patients with kidney or liver dysfunction, there is no data that requires an adjustment of the dosage.

 

• Duration of the application
  • Due to the thujon content, preparations from sage leaves should not be taken for more than 14 days.
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount than you should
  • In this case you will notify your doctor. This may decide on the necessary measures. The side effects listed may occur increasingly.

 

• If you have forgotten the intake
