Field of use

Herzass-ratiopharm 50mg (pack size: 100 pc) are used as part of standard therapy for the therapeutic treatment of an acute myocardial infarction (heart attack) and to prevent another myocardial infarction.

Herzass-ratiopharm 50mg (pack size: 100 pc) are also used as part of standard therapy to treat unstable angina pectoris. Furthermore, the use of the preparation for the prevention of a brain infarction and from transistorically ischemic attacks (TIA), after precursor stages have occurred, and indexed by arterial vascular surgical or interventional interventions.

Contradictions

Herzass-ratiopharm 50mg (pack size: 100 pc) should not be used at:

• known hypersensitivity to one of the above -mentioned ingredients
• acute stomach and intestinal ulcers
• pathologically increased bleeding tendency
• Liver and kidney failure
• heavy, non -set cardiac muscle weakness
• allergic reactions and asthma attacks occurred in the past when taking salicylates or other non -steroidal inflammatory inhibitors
• in combination with methotrexate 15 mg or more per week

• simultaneous therapy with coagulation inhibitors

• restricted liver and kidney function

• in the case of acute heart attack: 2 tablets daily (1st tablet torn),

• after operations or other interventions on arterial blood vessels: 2 tablets daily,
• to prevent temporary defect in deficiency in the brain (TIA) and brain infarcts after precursor stages occurred: 1-2 tablets a day.

The tablets should be taken with plenty of liquid (water) after a meal. Do not take on an empty stomach! To treat an acute heart attack, the first tablet should be tapped. Herzass-ratiopharm 50mg (package size: 100 pc) are intended for long-term use after instruction from a doctor.

Taking

• Please take the tablets unscovered after the meal with plenty of liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water).
• Do not take on an empty stomach!
• For treatment in the event of acute heart attack, the 1st tablet should be torn down or chewed.

Patient information

• Particular caution when taking the medicine is required
  • in the case of hypersensitivity (allergy) against other pain and inflammatory medicines, other medicines against rheumatism or other allergy trigger substances
  • if other allergies exist (e.g. B. with skin reactions, itching, nettle fever)
  • in asthma bronchial, hay fever, nasal mucus swelling (nasal polyps), chronic respiratory diseases
  • if treated with anticoagulant medicines (e.g. Cumarinderivates, heparin - with the exception of low -dose heparin treatment)
  • in the case of gastric and intestinal ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding in the history
  • with limited liver and/or kidney function
  • before operations (even with smaller interventions such as the drawing of a tooth): The bleeding time can be extended. Please inform your doctor or dentist if you have taken the medicine.
  • Acetylsalicylic acid reduces uric acid excretion in low doses. In the case of correspondingly endangered patients, this may trigger a gout attack.
  • If you cut or injure yourself, it may take a little longer than usual until bleeding comes to a standstill. This is related to the effect on the drug. Smaller cuts and injuries (e.g. when shaving) are usually irrelevant. With unusual bleeding (in an unusual place or an unusual duration), contact your doctor.
  • Acetylsalicylic acid-containing medicines should not be used for a long time or in higher doses without questioning the doctor.
  • Children and adolescents
    • In children and adolescents with febrile illnesses, the medicine should only be applied to medical instructions and only applied if other measures do not work. If these diseases occur with long vomiting, this can be a sign of Reye syndrome, a very rare but life-threatening illness that is absolutely necessary for immediate medical treatment.

Pregnancy

• Pregnancy and breast feeding period
  • If you find pregnancy while taking the medicine, please notify your doctor immediately.
  • In the first and second thirds of pregnancy, you may only take the medicine to order your doctor.
