Field of use

• This preparation is a vitamin preparation.
• It is used to treat a vitamin E lack.
• It is not suitable for the treatment of vitamin E deficiency states that are associated with a disturbed absorption of vitamin E from the intestine. In these cases, parenteral preparations (syringes) are available.

Contradictions

• This medicine must not be taken,
  • if you are hypersensitive (allergic) against RRR-A tocopherol (vitamin E) or one of the other components.

dosage

• Always take this medicine exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
  • Adult:
    • Adults occupy 1 soft capsule every day (corresponding to 335.5 mg RRR-A tocopherol).
  • Children:
    • Preparations with a lower active ingredient content are available for children.

 

• Duration of the application:
  • The duration of the intake depends on the course of the underlying disease. Please ask your doctor.

 

• Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount than you should:
  • Dangerous symptoms in overdose are not known.

 

• If you forgot to take it:
  • Do not take the double dose if you have forgotten the prior intake.

 

• If you stop taking:

Taking

• Please take the soft capsule with an insufficient liquid (preferably a glass of drinking water [200 ml]).

Patient information
