Field of use

• The preparation is an eye medicine (ophthalmic) from the group of tear substitutes and contains the synthetic polymer povidon K 25 as an active ingredient.
• Field of use
  • Symptomatic therapy of the "dry eye" (tear substance substances in poor quality of the tear film or insufficient humidification of the surface of the eye).

Contradictions

• The preparation must not be used,
  • if you are allergic to the active ingredient or one of the other components of this drug.

dosage

• Always apply this medicine as described in this package insert or exactly after instruction from your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
  • Jenach requires up to 5 times a day or more often 1 drop in the conjunctiva bag of the affected eye.

• Duration of the application
  • Since there is no sufficient experience for the preparation for an application for more than 8 weeks, the duration of use should be limited to this period.
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

• If you have used a larger amount than you should
  • If too many drops are accidentally brought into the eye, the excess amount generally flows off the tear-nose channel.

• If you have forgotten the application
  • Once the application has been forgotten, get it as soon as possible and then follow your regular dosing scheme again. If the preparation is not dripped regularly or forgotten more often, the success of the treatment is questioned.

• If you also use other eye drops or ointments, wait at least 5 minutes between the individual applications. Eye ointments should be used last.

Taking

• The preparation is intended for use on the eye.
• Application notes
  • Tilt your head back.
  • Take the open drip bottle in your hand and pull the lower eyelid down slightly with the other hand finger.
  • Bring the tip of the dripper close to the eye without touching it.
  • Let a drop fall into the conjunction.
  • Press gently with your index finger for about 1 minute to the inner edge of the lid edge.
  • Close the bottle again immediately after use.
• The eye drops are sterile until the original closure is opened. Bring the tip of the dripper into contact with the surface of the eye or with any other surface to avoid injuries or contamination.

  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using the preparation.
  • When headaches, eye pain, visualsin unicit, irritation of the eyes, persistent redness occur or if the irritation of the "dry eye" lasts or worsens, you should cancel the treatment and see your doctor.

• Wateriness and the ability to operate machines
  • After using the preparation, there may be blurred vision at short notice. Patients must not carry a vehicle, do not work without a safe hold or operate tools and machines before this impairment has subsided.

Pregnancy

• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you suspect that you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before application.
• Pregnancy
  • There is no sufficient experience with the use of the preparation for pregnant women. However, the inclusion in the entire organism is likely to be low after application on the eye. If necessary, an application of the preparation can be considered during pregnancy.
• Breastfeeding
  • After using the eye, only small amounts of the active ingredient go into breast milk that no undesirable effects on the breastfed child can be expected. You can therefore use the preparation during breastfeeding.

Miscellaneous

- Do not use the eye drops of soft contact lenses while wearing, since they can be discolored
- Remove soft contact lenses before use and use it again at the earliest 15 minutes later.
