Characteristics
Onychomycosis is a disease of the nail caused by microscopic fungi. They multiply in a warm and dark environment (such as shoes) and feed on keratin, the main component of the nail. They can lead to discoloration (whitish, yellowish), hardening, splintering or detachment of the nail (onycholysis).

This fungal infection is contagious and certain conditions can increase the risk of infection: damaged nails, excessive sweating, feet in poorly ventilated shoes, locked up in swimming pools or barefoot specified sports, etc.

Mavamed treatment against nail fungus is a medical device that treats such fungal infections.
The “Instant Killer” complex contained in this product enables the development of mycosis to stop on the infected nail within seconds, which prevents the spread to the other nails and brushes.
