Adults occupy 2 capsules at the beginning of the treatment. Then take 1 capsule after each additional unshaped chair. The daily maximum dose of 6 capsules must not be exceeded.

Children and adolescents from the age of 12 take 1 capsule at the beginning of the treatment and after each other unshaped chair. The daily maximum dose of 4 capsules must not be exceeded by this patient group.

Take in the capsules with a little liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water).

The medicine may only be applied according to the medical prescription if a liver disease exists or has been through because the reduction of Loperamide can be delayed in serious liver diseases.
In the event of diarrhea, large fluid and salt loss can occur. Therefore, the most important treatment measure in the event of diarrhea must be paid to replacement of liquid and electrolytes. This applies in particular to children.
The recommended dosage and the duration of 2 days must not be exceeded because severe constipation can occur.
If the diarrhea continues to exist after 2 days of treatment, the medicine must be discontinued and a doctor has been consulted. Children under 2 years of age must not be treated with medicinal products containing Loperamide.
Children between 2 and 12 years are only allowed to ÄrztliN regulation with medicinal products containing Loperamide. Due to the high active ingredient content, the drug is not suitable for this age group. According to medical prescription, other forms of dosage are available for this.
You can no longer use the medicine after specified date of expiry.

Pregnancy

Since there is no experience with pregnant women and the active ingredient goes into breast milk, an application during pregnancy and lactation should not be carried out.
