Field of use

Laxbene junior 500 mg/ml solution for, to take Kdr.6m-8j (pack size: 500 ml) belongs to the pharmaceutical group of the osmotic-acting laxative (laxanzien). Osmotic laxatives increase the water content in the stool and thus facilitate bowel movements.

The drug is used to symptomatic treatment of constipation in children between 6 months and 8 years. It should only be used as part of a change in life and nutrition.

The maximum treatment duration of constipation in children is 3 months.

500 mg macrogol 4000
Citronic acid, water -free auxiliary material (+)

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken,
  • if you are allergic to Macrogol (polyethylene glycol, PEG) or one of the other components of this drug.
  • if you suffer from an intestinal disease, especially from a colon disease (e.g. ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease).
  • if you suffer from abdominal pain unexplained cause.
  • if you have a hole or crack (PErformation) in the gastrointestinal tract or there is a risk of a hole or crack (perforation) in the intestinal wall.
  • if you have a intestinal obstruction or there are information on it.

dosage

• Always take this medicine exactly after consultation with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• The recommended dose is:
  • 6 Months to 1 year: 8 ml per day.
  • 1 Year to 4 years: 8 ml to 16 ml per day.
  • 4 Years to 8 years: 16 ml to 32 ml per day.
• With a dosage of 8 ml per day, treatment should take place in the morning, higher doses are divided into a morning and dose.
• The daily dose should be adapted to the success of the treatment.
• The effect occurs within 24 to 48 hours after ingestion.
• It is recommended to dose the solution for taking the dosing aid packed in the converter.
• After treatment, the improved bowel activity can be maintained by healthy lifestyle and balanced diet.
• Application in children and adolescents
  • In children, the treatment duration must not exceed 3 months, since there is no clinical data on for more than 3 months.
  • The dose should be gradually reduced. If constipation occurs again, the treatment is to be resumed.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount than you should
  • If a dose is taken too high, diarrhea can occur. These diarrhea end when the treatment is interrupted or the dose is reduced.
