Field of use

• The medicine is a vegetable medicine in the event of indigestion.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be used at:
  • Well -known hypersensitivity to smooth root, peppermint leaves and/or one of the other components of the drug,
  • liver diseases due to the congestion of the bile,
  • Cirrhosis of the liver,
  • High blood pressure,
  • Humiliation of the blood potassium level, heavy kidney dysfunction,
  • Treatment with cortisone or cortisone-like medication
  • Pregnancy
  • Still -time.
  • In the case of gallstone disorders, the medicine should only be used after consultation with a doctor.

dosage

• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor:
  • Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over drink 5 to 6 cups of the medicine every day

 

• Duration of the application
  • The duration of the application is not in principle limited. In the event of complaints that last for more than a week or return regularly, however, a doctor should be consulted.

 

• If you have drunk a larger amount of the medicine than you should:
  • If you take to large quantities of the medicine, please notify your doctor. This may decide on the necessary measures.
    The side effects may occur increased.

 

• If you forgot to take the medicine:
  • If you take small quantities of the medicine or if you have forgotten the intake of the medicine, do not take the double quantity next time, but continue the application, as prescribed by your doctor or described in the dosage instructions.

Taking

Patient information

• Particular caution when taking the medicine is required:
  • This medicine contains fructose, spray-dried glucose syrup and sucrose (sugar). Please only take the medicine after consulting your doctor if you know that you suffer from intolerance to certain sugar.
  • The frequent and permanent use of the medicine can be harmful to the teeth (caries).
  • When taking certain drugs strengthening the heart muscle, medicines against cardiac arrhythmias, the urinary excretion increases medication, laxative and when taking hormonal contraceptives ("Pill") should only be taken after consultation with the doctor.
  • In the case of black coloring of the chair, stomach ulcers known in the history and
    in the event of complaints that last longer than 1 week, a doctor must be visited.
  • Application in children
    • There is no sufficient examinations for the use of the medicine in children under 12 years. Children should therefore not drink tea infusions from the medicine.

  • There is no sufficient examinations for the use of the medicine during breastfeeding. Tea infusions from the medicine should therefore not be drunk.
  • There are indications in the literature that licorice root preparations may lead to early births. For peppermint leaf preparations or peppermint oil, there are no systematic examinations or information from the literature. Therefore, the drug should only be used after a strict medical indication and only under medical control. It is recommended to do without the simultaneous intake of other licorice-root extract or peppermint oil-containing products (e.g. food and luxury foods, alcoholic beverages, etc.).

- Glice root (liquorice) can be used in very large quantities (over 30 g daily, that is over 60 times more than the active ingredient in a cup) and over longer periods (months and years) taken to water retention in the tissue (swelling), potassium deficiency, high blood pressure And in rare cases lead to muscle protein in the urine. Therefore, after 4-6 weeks, the application should only be continued under medical guidance.
