Decubitan Skin Function Cream has been specially developed for the care of the heavily stressed skin for denture carriers, wheelchair drivers, long-bodies and after operations for the care of scars.

The cream contains the effective ingredients made of Herba Hydrocortylis, a medicinal plant used in Madagascar since their wound healing properties.

This active substance "Centella Asiatica" has been used successfully for over 3000 years in the Ayurvedic and traditional Medicine of Asia for wound healing in case of injury. Numerous studies on the active ingredient "Centella Asiatica" gave a very positive influence in wound healing in case of injury, burns, plastic chiruges and as a tonic.

"Centella Asiatica" increases the collagen I and III synthesis of the fribility - even with already existing skin damage with loss of skin tissue - and also shows an antibacterial, anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory effect.

Panthenol, as the second active ingredient, additionally stimulates the skin metering and improves the humidity capacity of the skin.
