Product features:

Dafilon® is a synthetic, non-absorbable, monofileal suture made of polyamide 6 / 6.6 (blue colored).
Dafilon® blue is used for skin closure and plastic surgery. Dafilon® Blue is also suitable for use in neurosurgery.
As with every suture of nylon, though not resorbable, the progressive hydrolysis of the suture may result in a stepwise loss of the tear strength over time.
