Field of use

• Medicines for external treatment of corns, vulgar warts and Kallus (Schwielen).

Contradictions

• Must not be used,
  • if they are hypersensitive to the drugs that are effective in the drug, salicylic acid or lactic acid as well as salicylates or other components of the drug,
  • in infants or
  • in patients with renal failure
  • in breastfeeding mothers if large skin areas are to be treated regularly

dosage

• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
  • apply to the skin to be treated once a day.
  • The application over a period of 4 to 6 weeks is usually sufficient. No longer apply the preparation without medical advice.
  • The maximum daily dose for adults of 2 g must not be used for more than 1 week. The daily dose of 0.2 g must not be exceeded for children.
• Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of too strong or too weak is.

 

• If you have any further questions about the application of the drug, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Taking

• For application on the skin.
• Apply to the skin areas to be treated.
• The preparation should not reach the healthy skin in the vicinity of the skin to be treated. You can protect them with a fatty cream. Let the treated skin areas dry.
• Before applying again, the existing film should be removed by pulling off or rubbing off. With regular use, the softened horn layer can be easily removed after a few days, if necessary after a hot soap bath.

Patient information

• Special caution is required:
  • The medicine should not be used in the face or genital area.
  • Do not bring your eyes and mucous membranes into contact.
  • If in doubt, the doctor must be visited.
• Warts are transferable! In order to prevent infection spread, your own towel should never be passed on to others for us.
• Do not go barefoot in the presence of foot warts!

Pregnancy

• The drug may only be used smaller than 5 cm²) during pregnancy.
• The drug must not be applied to the breastfeeding breast. The random absorption of the drug by the infant through contact with the treated part of the body must be avoided. If the doctor considers regular treatment of large skin areas to be necessary, it must be stopped at an early stage, since risks due to a lack of detoxification in newborns cannot be ruled out.
• Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using all medicines.

Miscellaneous

- Vor view, easily flammable
- Do not apply it over a large area
- The solution should not reach the healthy skin in the vicinity of the wart.
- Do not bring into contact with eyes and mucous membranes
- Do not apply in the face or genital area
- Never pass on your own towel to other use (warts are transferable)
- Do not go barefoot in foot warts
- In the event of excessive irritation, the application should be interrupted in the meantime and resumed after the irritation has subsided.
