Canicur^®Pro is a pro- and prebiotic diet supplementary feed for dogs and cats to regulate the physiological Intestinal function in uncomplicated diarrhea. It can accompany during and after diarrhea therapy to support the intestinal flora. Unfortunately, diarrhea is one of the most common reasons why we are looking for veterinary help with our pets. If our dog or cat has diarrhea, the intestinal flora is also attacked. Conversely, a sick intestinal flora often leads Diarrhea. An imbalance of the intestinal flora can be caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites and food. Also poisoning, Immune reactions, medication and metabolic diseases can trigger diarrhea.

Why does my dog/cat have diarrhea?
Diarrhea is a symptom for which there are many causes. It is common to all that they have increased water loss over the feces to lead. The causes can be harmless, but also serious.

How long can I use Canicur^®Pro?
Use Canicur^®Pro as long as it is considered necessary or recommended by the veterinarian, but no longer than 4 weeks. During antibiotic treatment, use Canicur^®per accompanying to seven days after the end of antibiotic therapy. In cases with acute diarrhea, Canicur^®should be given until the diarrhea stops and a few days beyond. If the general condition of your animal deteriorates and/or the diarrhea does not improve within 48 hours after starting with Canicur^®Pro, you will immediately see a veterinarian. In the event of a chronic diarrhea, you should always go to your vet. Canicur^®Pro can be accompanied to therapeutic agents over the duration of the diarrhea. In order to avoid stress -induced diarrhea, Canicur ^®per day before the stressful event (e.g. transport, vet visit, move, feeding change) can be administered beyond one day.

Is Canicur^®Pro also suitable for puppies?
Yes, Canicur^®Pro may be given dog puppies from an age of 3 weeks. In particular, the "little ones" can literally hit the stomach and intestine infections or the infestation with worms. Puppies are curious and explore their environment - the nose sniffs on the floor and not infrequently, waste is tracked down and eaten playfully while walking. The consequence can be carried out because these waste is not tolerated. In the case of puppy diarrhea, however, an infestation with worms or other parasites as well as infections with bacteria or viruses should be considered in particular. It helped my dogs a lot with diarrhea and indigestion. I also add it to antibiotic treatments to maintain the intestinal flora. My dogs like it. I have also used it successfully on puppies.
