Calcium D3 Heumann - calcium with the plus on vitamin D3! Calcium is a vital mineral with numerous important functions in our body. Calcium d3 Heumann effervescent tablets equalize calcium and vitamin D3 deficiency and support the treatment of osteoporosis. The effervescent tablets are light and completely soluble and taste pleasantly fruity of lemon. This medicine is an oral calcium vitamin D3 preparation. With proven calcium and vitamin D3 deficiency, as well as for the supportive treatment of osteoporosis.

Calcium D3 Heumann (pack size: 40 pcs) contains: The active ingredients are: calcium and Colecalciferol (vitamin D3). A effervescent tablet contains 600 mg calcium (as calcium carbonate) and 10 micrograms Colecalciferol (vitamin D3, corresponding to 400 I. E. as Colecalciferol dry concentrate). The other components are: α-tocopherol, partially hydrated soy oil, corn thickness, sucrose, gelatin, sodium hydrogen carbonate, sodium carbonate, citronic acid, etchic acid, sodium cyclamate, maltodextrin, saccharin sodium, lemon aroma.

Contradictions

In the case of known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients mentioned above, the product should not be used.

dosage

Application recommendation of Calcium D3 Heumann (pack size: 40 pc):

Adults occupy 1 effervescent tablet twice a day (in the morning and evening) (corresponding to 1,200 mg calcium and 800 I. E. Vitamin D3).

The effervescent tablet is dissolved in a glass of water (approx. 200 ml) and drunk immediately. The intake can be taken to eat or between meals.

Calcium D3 Heumann should be taken in the long term. Talk to your doctor how long you should take calcium d3 Heumann.

Patient information

• Particular caution when taking it is required:
  • During long-term therapy, serum and urincalcium levels and kidney function must be checked regularly. If necessary, your doctor can reduce the dosage or interrupt the treatment, depending on the measured values.
  • In patients who suffer from a disturbed kidney function, the drug is to be used with caution. The serum and urincalcium level should be checked in these patients.
  • Additional intake of calcium and vitamin D may only be carried out under medical control including a weekly review of the serum and urincalcium level.
  • In patients who suffer from sarcoidosis, the medicine should only be used with caution, since the risk of increased conversion of vitamin D insists into its active shape. The calcium levels in the blood and urine should be monitored in these patients.

  • There are no special precautions required.

Pregnancy

• During pregnancy, a daily intake of 500 i.e. Vitamin D are not exceeded. Therefore, it is no longer allowed as a dailyh 1 effervescent tablet 400 i.e. vitamin d). So far, no risks in the specified dose area are known.
• Long-lasting overdoses of vitamin D must be prevented during pregnancy, since the resulting hypercalcemia (increased calcium concentration in the blood) can lead to physical and intellectual disabilities as well as congenital heart and eye diseases of the child.
• Vitamin D and its metabolic products pass into breast milk. An overdose in the infant generated in this way has not been observed.
• Calcium passes into breast milk in small quantities without having a adverse effect on the child.
