Contradictions

  • if you suffer from an overfunction of the parathyroid gland (hyperparathyroidism)

• The recommended dose is
  • Adults and older people take 1 chewing tablet daily (corresponding to 1,000 mg calcium and 880 I.E. [Internationale Einheiten] Vitamin D₃).
  • Pregnant women only take 1/2 chewing tablets daily (corresponding to 500 mg calcium and 440 I.E. [Internationale Einheiten] Vitamin D₃). The daily dose of 1/2 chewing tablet must not be exceeded.
• Application in children and adolescents
  • The drug must not be taken by children and adolescents under the age of 18.

• Duration of treatment
