1. What is Movicol liquid orange and what is it used for?

The name of this product is Movicol Liquid orange, concentrate for making a solution to take. It is a product from the group of laxants for the treatment of acute and chronic constipation in adults, adolescents and elderly patients. It is not recommended for use in children under 12 years. There are other Movicol Products available for this patient group. Movicol Liquid Orange helps you to convenient intestinal activity, even if you have already suffered a long period of time. Movicol Liquid orange is not recommended for the treatment of Koprostase. Alternative Movicol products are available for the treatment of Koprostase.

2. What do you need to consider orange before taking Movicol?

Take Movicol Liquid orange not when your doctor has informed you that you have one of the following complaints:

• Intestinal constriction or intestinal closure,
• in the case of intestinal breakthrough (perforation),
• severe inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis, crohn's disease or toxic megakolon,
• Hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients of Movicol Liquid orange.

Special care when taking Movicol liquid orange:
Pregnancy and breast feeding period:
Movicol Liquid orange can be taken during pregnancy and lactation. If you are pregnant, want to become pregnant or breastfeeding, ask before taking Movicol Liquid orange your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

• 45.6 mg benzyl alcohol in each produced 125 ml dose.

3. How to take Movicol liquid orange?

You can take this product at any time and regardless of the recording of food and drink.

Constipation:
This product must not be taken undiluted. A dose of Movicol Liquid orange equals 25 ml of liquid which with 100 ml of water is diluted. According to the severity of their constipation, take the ready-to-use solution for 1 to 3 times a day.

Making the solution:
Open the bottle and measure 25 ml or 5 Teaspoon fillings (to 5 ml each). Enter the fluid into a glass and add about 100 ml (about half a glass) Water added.
