Field of use

• This medicine is a broad spectrum antimycotic.
• The skin is used for fungal infections (mycoses) by dermatophytes, yeasts (e.g. Candida species), mold and others, such as Malassezia Furgh (Hautschorf) and infections caused by Corynebacterium minutissimum (caused by erythras).
• These can manifest themselves as mycoses of the feet, mycoses of the skin and skin folds, pityriasis versicolor ("flexible mushroom braids"), superficial candidoses.

Contradictions

• This medicine must not be used,
  • if you are allergic to clotrimazole or one of the other components of this medicine.

   

dosage

• Always apply this medicine as described or exactly after the agreement made with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• The recommended dose is
  • Apply the cream 2-3 times a day to the sick areas thinly and rub in.
  • Usually a small amount of cream (approx. 1/2 cm strand length) is sufficient for an approximately handmade area.

• Duration of the application
  • The regular and sufficiently long use of the cream is important for the success of the treatment.
  • The duration of treatment is different; It depends on the extent and location of the disease. To achieve a complete healing, you do not break the treatment with the cream after the acute inflammatory symptoms or subjective symptoms. Perform the treatment for at least 4 weeks.
  • Pityriasis Versicolor ("Klingen mushroom braids") generally heals in 1 - 3 weeks and erythrasma in 2 - 4 weeks. In the case of athlete's foot - in order to prevent relapses and, despite rapid subjective improvement - approx. 2 weeks beyond the disappearance of all disease signs . Dry your feet thoroughly after each washing.

• If you have used a larger amount than you should
  • If you have used a larger amount of this medicine than you should, please notify your doctor. This may decide on the necessary measures. The side effects listed below may occur.

• If you have forgotten the application
  • Do not apply twice the amount if you have forgotten the previous application.
  • Provide as usual without double the amount of cream. If the treatment is forgotten or prematurely, you will probably have to start the cure again. In such a case, ask your doctor or pharmacist about the further procedure.

• If you cancel the application
  • Please comply with the therapy duration specified by the doctor, otherwise a complete success of treatment cannot be guaranteed.

Taking

  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using the cream.
  • You should not use deodorants or other cosmetics on the diseased skin areas, since a reduction in effectiveness cannot be excluded from this preparation. If in doubt, please contact your dermatologist.

  • There are no special precautions required.

Pregnancy

• If you are pregnant or breastfeed, or if you suspect that you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this drug.
• Pregnancy
  • Caution should not be used in early pregnancy (in the first 3 months of pregnancy).
• Breastfeeding
  • In order to prevent small amounts of active ingredients from going into breast milk, breastfeeding mothers must not apply the cream in the chest area.
