1. What is Nystatin Leather Cream and what is it used for?

Nystatin Lederle Cream is an antimycotic (medium against pathogenic fungi) and is applied to skin infections caused by proven Nystatin-sensitive yeast (Candida albicans, Torulopsis Glabrata et al.

If you do not feel better or even worse after 1 week, contact your doctor.

2. What should you consider before using Nystatin Lederle cream?

Nystatin Lederle Cream must not be used if it is hypersensitive (allergic) against Nystatin or one of the other ingredients of this medicine mentioned in section 6.

Warnings and Precautions:
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before applying Nystatin Lederle Cream. Due to the high osmolarity of Nystatin, an application is advised against very underweight and immature premature babies. When treating with Nystatin Lederle cream in the genital or anal area, while the use of condoms from latex, it can lead to reducing the functionality and thus impaired the safety of condoms because of the contained adjuvants.

Applying Nystatin Lederle Cream with other medicines:

3. How to use Nystatin Lederle Cream?

The recommended dose is:
Adult:
Wear the cream 2-3 times daily on the diseased skin portions. For newborns, toddlers and children (> 2 years) the same dosage applies as for adults.

Duration of application:

4. WHAT SIDE EFFECTS ARE POSSIBLE?

Like all medicines, this medicine can also have side effects, but they do not have to occur each other.

The following side effects may occur during treatment:

Macrogolstearate 1000, Cetylstearyl alcohol (Ph. EUR.) Plant, Isopropyl myristate (pH. EUR.), Glycerol 85%, sorbic acid (pH. EUR.) R (E 200), lactic acid (E 270), sodium hydroxide, purified water.
