Field of use

Mode of action

The preparation for external application contains the active ingredients menthol, campher, turpentine oil and eucalyptus oil. The ingredients bring about rapid relief.

Contradictions

Thefsitivity reactions can occur against all medicines, then you have to stop taking the medication immediately. If an allergy to the active ingredient or one of the other components of the drug is known, it must not be applied.

The medicine must not be used at:
- Pre -damaged or inflamed skin or open wounds at the order point
- Asthma or other respiratory diseases with pronounced hypersensitivity to the respiratory tract
- Children under 2 years

As inhalation do not apply at:

Application recommendation of Wick Vaporub cold ointment (pack size: 25 g):

You can use Wick Vaporub in two ways:

Apply to the chest and back (from 2 years): Wick Vaporub is massaged on the chest and back. In children aged 6 and over, the ointment can be gently applied to the neck before going to bed. During the use, the most relaxed clothing should be worn to facilitate inhaling the vapors. Please note: The recommended number of 3 to 4 applications per day should not be exceeded.

Inhalation (from 6 years): Opp an option, the remedy in children from 6 years and in adults can also be used for inhalation. In addition, hot (but not boilings) Put the water into a bowl suitable for inhalation, dissolve 2 teaspoons of vaporub in it and inhale the vapors.

Taking

- Only use externally or to inhale

Inclusion:
- Apply the ointment in adults and children from the age of 6 on the chest, neck and back and carefully massage for 3-5 minutes.

Inhalation:

- Put 1-2 teaspoons of ointment in a bowl or another container with a large surface in adults and children (not under 6 years). Heat 1/2 liters of water (never in the microwave stove) and very hot, but do not put it boiling in the container. Vapors develop that are inhaled for 10-15 minutes. In the meantime, the water must not be heated further; Do not restore after use.
- Do not leave children unattended during inhalation.

Patient information

- If no significant improvement in the symptoms has occurred after 3-5 days, with persistent or worsening coughing, with fever or with a whistling cough it is recommended to see a doctor because there could be more serious illness.

Miscellaneous

- Remove ointment remnants with dent oil -soaked paper towels in itchy skin reddening and no longer use the medicine.
