Field of use

The in Azedil Kombi pack 0.5 mg/ml at 1mg/ml nasal sprocket. (Package size: 1 pc) contained eye drops are used at:
Seasonal allergic conjunctivitis and year -old allergic conjunctivitis.
The nasal spray it contains is at allgashear rhinitis (hay fever) applied.

Mode of action

Azedil combi pack 0.5 mg/ml at 1mg/ml nasal sprinkle. (Package size: 1 pc) contains the active ingredient azelastin. Azelastin belongs to a group of medicines that are referred to as antihistamines. Antihistamines prevent the effects of substances (such as histamines), which are produced by the body in connection with an allergic reaction. It was shown that Azelastin can reduce inflammation on the eye and in the nose.

Eye drops solution:
1 ml solution contains 0.5 mg azelastin hydrochloride.
Each drop contains 0.015 mg azelastin hydrochloride.
The other components are:
Benzalkonium chloride, sodium defeat (Ph.Eur.), Hypromellose 4000, Sorbitol solution 70 % (crystallizing) (Ph.EUR.), Sodium hydroxide for pH setting and water for injection purposes.

Nasal spray solution:
1 ml solution contains 1 mg azelastin hydrochloride.
Each spray at 0.14 ml contains 0.14 mg azelastin hydrochloride.
The other components are:
Sodium defeat (Ph.Eur.), Hypromellose 4000, sodium monohydrogen phosphate-dodecahydrate (Ph.eur.), Citronic acid, sodium chloride, cleaned water.

Contradictions

Azedil combi pack 0.5 mg/ml at 1mg/ml nasal sprinkle. (Package size: 1 pc) must not be used if they are allergic to Azelastin hydrochloride or one of the other components of this drug.

Warning: The eye drops contain benzalkonium chloride.
Benzalkonium chloride can be absorbed by soft contact lenses and lead to discoloration of the contact lenses. Benzalkonium chloride can also cause irritation on the eye, especially in patients with dry eyes or diseases of the cornea.

dosage

Children:
There are no sufficient studies on dosage and pharmacokinetics. Therefore Azedil combi pack should be 0.5 mg/ml at 1mg/ml nasal sprinkle. (Package size: 1 pc) are not used in children under 6 years.
Patients with liver or kidney damage:

There is no sufficient experience with the treatment of patients with liver and/or renal insufficiency with Azedil combi pack 0.5 mg/ml at 1mg/ml nasal sprocket. (Package size: 1 pc).

Taking

• Eye drops, solution
  • Take a clean paper handkerchief and remove the tear fluid from the lower edge of the lid.
  • Screw the bottle on.
  • Put your head back a little, pull the lower eyelid slightly from the eye and carefully drip a drop in the conjunctiva bag.
  • Make sure that the tipper does not touch the eye.
  • Leave the lower eyelid lot again and press slightly against the nose from the corner of the eye. Slowly blink to distribute the drop over the eyeball. Then remove excess eye drops.
  • Repeat the process for the other eye.
