Field of use
- The medicine is an emulsion and is used to cover the daily requirement on fat -soluble vitamins A, D2, E and K1 in adults and children aged 11 and over as part of a parenteral diet.

Contradictions
- The medicine must not be used at
- Hypervitaminoses (A, D2, E and K1).
- Hypersensitivity to the contained vitamins or one of the other components
dosage
- Always apply the preparation exactly according to the doctor's instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
- Dosage instructions
- Unless otherwise prescribed, 10 ml of the drug are recommended to cover the daily requirement of adults and children from the age of 11.
- Duration of the application
- Treatment can continue throughout the duration of parenteral nutrition. The application takes place as long as a substitution with fat -soluble vitamins is required.
- If you have any further questions about the application of the drug, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Taking
- For intravenous infusion
- The drug must not be used in a concentrated form, but is intended as an addition to a suitable fat emulsion. For this purpose, 10 ml are carefully mixed up within one hour before creating the infusion under hygienically perfect conditions of the amount of fat emulsion prescribed in parenteral nutrition. The infusion takes place in the manner prescribed for the fat emulsion.
- The preparation can also be used to dissolve Soluvit® n. For this purpose, 10 ml of the drug under hygienically perfect conditions for the dry substance in 1 bottle of soluvit® n are given. The solution is then mixed up to the fat emulsion.
Patient information
- Special care in the application is required:
- The medicine must not be administered undiluted.
- Control of the plasma vitamin concentrations is recommended for long -term use as well as liver dysfunction and renal failure (changed vitamin requirement).
- With parenteral nutrition, a daily supply must also be paid to water -soluble vitamins in the amount of the recommended daily requirement. Increased losses of water -soluble vitamins (e.g. hemodialysis) may require a higher supply.
- The preparation only covers the normal daily requirement of fat -soluble vitamins. Existing vitamin deficiency is to be compared in a targeted manner.
