What is Femannose® N and what is it used for?

1. Active mechanism
Cystitis (Bladderitis) and related disorders are microbial diseases that mainly affect the bubble and urethra. In most cases, they are triggered by the penetration of non-pathogenic bacteria from the microflora of the lower gastrointestinal tract when these bacteria find conditions that enable adhesion and waxing on the bladder wall and urinary tracts. These conditions are most common in young women, during pregnancy as well as during the peri- and post-menopause, but sometimes even in older men or in catheterized patients. The drug therapy of the first choice for cystitis is currently the administration of antibiotics. However, many bacteria are resistant and can lead to a renewed occurrence of the infection. Femannose® N is a medical device that is used for the prevention and supporting treatment of cystitis and other bacterial urinary tract infections (HWI) is indexed. D-mannose can alleviate the most frequently occurring symptoms at infections of the lower urinary tract (burning during urination, frequent urination, urinary rang, etc.) if they are caused by bacteria of the type Escherichia coli.

2. Composition
Each portion bag contains: 2 g of D-mannose auxiliaries: Swivel: fructose, sucralose; Citric acid; Dye: Red pray; Release agent: silicon dioxide; Aroma.

4. Dosage and application instructions:
For adults and children over 14 years. The recommended dose for the prevention of cystitis is a portion bag per day.

The following dosing is recommended for the supportive treatment of cystitis:

Revenues should be distributed over the day.

Dissolve the contents of a portion bag in a glass of water. It is recommended to drink at least two liters of water per day to promote urinary excretion. In order to prevent a re-occurrence of the infection, the application should be continued for one month.

5. Side effects
Special tests have shown that the components of Femannose® N harmless, unrestricted biocompatible and well tolerated. In the dosage necessary for supporting treatment, no side effects were found, except for individual incompatibility, which can lead to nausea, bloating and soft chair. If the symptoms stop, contact your doctor.

6. Interactions with nutritional supplements and medicines
For the components of Femannose® N, no interactions with nutritional supplements are known. Nutritional supplements including vitamins, nutrients, as well as vegetable and homeopathic medicines, however, should generally be taken at least two hours before or after the use of Femannose® N.

Interactions with drugs: Simultaneous intake of Femannose® N does not affect the effectiveness of antibiotics. The anti-adhesive effect by the accessme from Femannose® N leads to no resistance.
Mannose is not metabolized and therefore has no interaction with other substances.

7. Storage
Store Femannose® N on a dry place and protected from direct heat and light. Only open the bag shortly before use. Keep the product below 25 ° C.

8. Warnings and precautions
Use Femannose® N only after prior consultation with your doctor or pharmacist.
Femannose® N is not a substitute for an antibiotic treatment of urinary tract infections.
Do not use Femannose® N in a known hypersensitivity or incompatibility with one of the ingredients.

During pregnancy and lactation, it is recommended to use the product only after consultation with the doctor. The product may not be used in children under 14 years.
The recommended dosage must not be exceeded!

If the symptoms have not improved after three days, you should stop taking and turn to a doctor.

Keep out of reach of children.
Do not take Femannose® N for more than 30 days. If the symptoms continue on, contact a doctor.
Each portion bag is intended for disposable use and should only be opened shortly before use.

9. Expiration date
Do not take the product after the expiration date printed on the packaging. The expiration date refers to the product stored in the intact packaging.

10. Disposal
Expired products must be disposed of in accordance with local environmental regulations. Do not dispose of the product and its packaging in the environment.
