The attractive shrub or tree Vitus agnus castus has been popular since ancient times and has gone by many names, such as Athenian tree or Abraham bush. The names chaste tree, chaste tree, chaste tree or lady's bed straw come from times when monks and nuns tried to preserve their chastity with the help of this plant.
