Which age group must be observed?
- Children under the age of 12: The drug should generally not be used in this age group.

What about pregnancy and lactation?
- Pregnancy: The medicine should not be used according to current knowledge.
- Breastfeeding: The medicine must not be used.

If the medicine has been prescribed to you despite a counter -notification, speak to your doctor or pharmacist. The therapeutic benefit can be higher than the risk of using the application.

Side effects

What adverse effects may occur?

- Gastrointestinal complaints, such as:
- Diarrhea
- Soft chairs
- Stomach pain
- Super sensitivity reactions of the skin, such as:
- Skin rash
- Nettle rash

If you notice a disorder or change during treatment, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

What should you consider?
- Beware of allergy to peanuts and soy.

Field of use

• The Proeparat is a vegetable medicine for increased blood lipid levels and in the case of liver diseases.
• It is used for lighter forms of hypercholesterolemia (increased cholesterol levels), provided that diet and other non -drug measures (e.g. physical training and weight loss) have an insufficient effect.
• Furthermore, the drug is used to improve the subjective symptoms such as loss of appetite, feeling of pressure in the right upper abdomen in the case of liver damage caused by liver-damaging substances (e.g. due to alcohol) as well as impair nutrition (toxic-nutritive liver damage) and in chronic liver inflammation (hepatitis).
• This drug therapy does not replace the avoidance of the causes damaging the liver (e.g. alcohol).
• In chronic hepatitis, supportive therapy with phospholipids from soybeans is only justified if an improvement in the condition is recognizable.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken,
  • if you are hypersensitive to phospholipids, soy proteins or one of the other components of the drug
  • with an antiphospholipide syndrome
  • in breastfeeding

dosage

• Always take the medicine exactly according to the instruction.
• Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
  • Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over take 2 soft capsules 3 times a day.

 

• Duration of the intake:
  • The duration of the application is not limited in time. It depends on the course of the disease.
  • In any case, please note the information on the application of the drug, precautionary measures and side effects.
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount than you should:
  • So far, no overdose and symptoms of poisoning have become known for this drug or comparable medicines. If you take a larger amount of this drug, please notify a doctor if necessary. This can decide on any necessary measures. The side effects listed below may occur.

 

• If you forgot to take it:
  • Do not take the double dose if you have forgotten the prior intake.
  • Please continue with the dosage specified under category "Dosage.

 

• If you have any further questions about the application of the drug, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Taking

• Please take the soft capsules with sufficient liquid (preferably a glass of drinking water).
• Do not take soft capsules while lying down!

Patient information

• Particular caution when taking it is required:
  • If the symptoms are increased, a doctor should be consulted if the symptoms and the occurrence of other unclear complaints.
• Children
  • So far, there have been no indications of risks in children from the widespread use of soybeans as food. There are no adequate examinations of uninterrupted phospholipids. Therefore, the application of the drug in children under the age of 12 is not recommended.

 

• Wateriness and operating machines
  • There are no special precautions required.

Pregnancy

• So far, there have been no indications of risks during pregnancy from the widespread use of soybeans as food. There are no adequate examinations of uninterrupted phospholipids. Therefore, the application of the drug in pregnancy is not recommended.
• The medicine must not be used due to insufficient examinations during breastfeeding.
• Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using all drugs.
