Field of use

• The preparation is a combination consisting of a nasal spray and eye drops against allergic runny nose, which occurs together with an allergic conjunctivitis.
• The medicine is used in hay fever when allergic symptoms appear on the nose (e.g. flow sniff) and eye (e.g. itching, tears).
• Notice:
  • In some patients, the additional gift of decongestant nasal drops or systemic anti -allergic drugs can be useful at the beginning of the treatment. Please discuss with your doctor if this applies to you.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be used
  • if you are hypersensitive to sodium cromoglicat (Ph.Eur.) or one of the other components of the drug.
  • Even if an allergic reaction situation is suspected, another contact must be avoided.

dosage

• Always apply the medicine exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is
  • Nasal spray
    • Adults and children add a 1-spray nasal spray in every nose opening up to 4 times a day.
    • The daily dose can be increased if necessary, the frequency of application should not exceed 1 spray in each nasal opening 6 times a day. After a good response with stabilization of the symptoms under the therapy with the preparation, an attempt to reduce dose can be made.
  • Eye drop
    • Children and adults drop 1 drop drops in each eye 4 times a day.
    • The daily dose can be increased to 1 drops to 6 times a day by increasing the frequency of application and also doubled to 1 drops to 8 times a day.

• Duration of the application
  • Regular daily application is required because the medicine has no immediate effect.
  • The preparation is only suitable for prevention. Therefore, the treatment should be continued after the complaints have subsided as long as the allergens (pollen, house dust, mold spores, food allergens) are exposed.
  • The therapy effect must be checked regularly. However, the dosage intervals can also be extended after the therapeutic effect has been reached as long as the freedom of symptoms is maintained.
  • If you want to use the preparation over a longer period of time, you should have the need for treatment determined by the doctor.
  • Do not apply the drug without medical advice for more than 5 days.
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the Effect of the drug is too strong or too weak.

• If you have used a larger amount than you should
  • Semal symptoms have not yet been known for sodium cromoglicat.

• If you have forgotten the application
  • Do not take the double dose if you have forgotten the previous application.

• If you cancel the application
  • If you cancel the treatment with the preparation, your symptoms can reinforce or reappear.

Taking

• Nasal spray
  • is intended for nasal application.
• Eye drop
  • are intended for use on the eye.
  • Tilt your head slightly back. Pull the bottom of the eye down with the index finger of a hand. Keep the bottle vertically over the eye with the other hand (without touching the eye) and 1 drop in the pulled conjunctive sac. Try to keep the eye open and move so that the drop is distributed well.

  • In the event of inflammation, even with allergic conjunctivitis, the ophthalmologist must be asked whether contact lenses may continue to be worn despite the symptoms.

  • Nasal spray
    • There are no special precautions required.
  • Eye drop
    • This drug influences the visitor for a few minutes immediately after use. Before you take part in road traffic, work without a safe hold or operate machines, it should be waited until the impairment of vision has passed through veil vision.

Pregnancy

• Pregnancy
  • There are no indications of a fruit -damaging effect of the drug both from animal studies and from previous experience in humans. Nevertheless, you should only use the preparation from basic considerations during pregnancy if the doctor considers it necessary.
• Breastfeeding
  • The active ingredient of the preparation merges into breast milk in small quantities. Therefore, you should only apply the medicine during breastfeeding if the doctor considers it necessary.
